Fungi, but make it fashion. Stella McCartney launched two garments made from mushroom-based alternative leather on Wednesday, promoting the pieces with a campaign starring Paris Jackson.

The 22-year-old singer stunned in a black bustier top and pants made of Mylo, a vegan faux leather that comes from “the infinitely renewable underground root system of fungi,” per a press release.

Although the new neck ink she added last March wasn’t visible, Jackson’s many other tattoos were on full display in the sleeveless style.

McCartney, 49, is famous for her environmentally conscious fashions, and hers is the first luxury label in the world to launch garments made out of the “next-generation material,” which she worked with Bolt Threads to perfect.

“These rare, exclusive pieces embody our shared commitment with Bolt Threads to innovate a kinder fashion industry – one that sees the birth of beautiful, luxurious materials as opposed to the deaths of our fellow creatures and planet,” the designer said in the release.

The campaign is far from McCartney’s first celebrity collaboration; she’s recently partnered with stars including Taylor Swift and Grimes.

While McCartney and Jackson both have famous fathers – Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson, respectively – they also have a shared passion for the environment.

The young singer is vocal about her activism, telling Teen Vogue in 2017 that she has “cared about the wellness of animals and the environment” since childhood.
